Wendy Petty is the Head Boys and Girls Tennis Coach at William Blount High School. Coach Petty has coached the Governors since 2016. Petty was an assistant coach at South Doyle for one season before moving to William Blount.
Under Petty’s leadership, the Governors have seen tremendous amounts of success. As a Head Coach, her record is 31-15 with the boys and 23-21 with the girls. Coach Petty coached a player to a singles District Championship in 2021.
Wendy is married to her husband of 10 years, Brad. During her free time, Wendy enjoys playing tennis, hiking, and traveling. Petty is a school counselor at William Blount.
