Rick Etherton

TITLE: Head Golf Coach

Rick Etherton coaches both the girls and boys golf teams at William Blount. He began coaching in 2019 as an assistant coach at WB before moving into the head coaching role in 2021.

Etherton coached Sophia Gambini, the 2024 TSSAA Class AA girls state champion.

Rick is married to his wife of over 25 years, Traci. They have 2 children: Nick and Natalie. Nick played golf at WBHS and currently plays at Tennessee Tech. Natalie plays golf and basketball for William Blount. During his free time, Rick enjoys fishing and golfing.
