Megan Luke

Megan Luke is the Head Cheerleading Coach at WBHS. She started coaching the cheer team in 2022. Previously, she was a majorette coordinator at Bearden High School.

Megan is a graduate of the University of Tennessee, where she was a majorette in the Pride of the Southland Marching Band. She earned a bachelors degree in History and a masters degree in Secondary Education at UT. Luke also has experience in baton twirling and judges baton twirling competitions.

In high school, Luke cheered on the varsity squad at McMinn Central. She was an All-American cheerleader from 2013 to 2015.

Coach Luke is married to her husband, Will. During her free time, Megan enjoys hiking, reading, and cross stitching. She is also a CrossFit athlete.

“The WBHS Cheer squad prides itself on traditions and new beginnings. We want to create and maintain a positive culture amongst all Governors. Our job is simple – cheer on the Governors through thick and thin and encourage others to do the same!”
