Kendra Swafford

Kendra Swafford is the Head Volleyball Coach at William Blount High School. She has been the Head Coach since 2019. She was an assistant coach at William Blount for one season prior to her tenure as a Head Coach. Her record is 28-22 entering the 2021 season.

Coach Swafford believes that teaching her players to give 110% in everything they do is the most important part of her job as a coach. She prepares her players for life outside of sports and after graduation. “Success is measured by meeting and exceeding set goals. Our players must work diligently at achieving those goals in order to grow as a player and as a team,” Swafford says. Kendra has had an average of 3 athletes go on to play college volleyball each season she has been at William Blount. Her teams have also been recognized for GPA awards the past 2 seasons.

Coach Swafford also coaches K2 Volleyball in Knoxville. She has been the Head Coach at K2 Volleyball Club since 2019.

Swafford is a nurse and teacher. She teaches Health Science and Anatomy and Physiology. During her free time, she enjoys collecting records, going antique shopping, going to the lake, and reading.
