Justin Young

Justin Young is the Head Baseball Coach at William Blount High School. Young started his coaching career at William Blount in 2008 as an assistant basketball coach. He stopped coaching basketball in 2010. He was an assistant baseball coach from 2009 to 2011. Young took over as Head Baseball Coach in the fall of 2011. Under his leadership, the Governors have compiled a 181-175 record entering the 2024 season.

The Young family has a history of giving back to Blount County Schools. Justin is the brother of Carpenters Middle School Principal Jon Young and the son of legendary middle school football coach Rick Young. Justin graduated from William Blount High School in 2004.

Justin is married to his wife, Kristen. They have 3 children.

During his free time, Coach Young enjoys spending time with family, working on the baseball field, and collecting baseball cards.
