Wrestlers Win WB Invitational

The William Blount wrestling team finished first on Saturday at the WB Invitational.  Individual winners include:  Calvin Martin, Austin Sauls, Brandon Nanney, Dawson Satterfield, James Hartgrove, Christian Lovell and Cade Ramsey.  Calvin Martin was voted “Most Outstanding Wrestler”.

Skinny: Micah Scheetz’s return from turf toe and ankle injuries a boost for Lady Spartans.

8. Grainger (13-3)

Skinny: Lady Grizzlies’ three losses have come by a combined six points.

9. Greeneville (13-2)

Skinny: Lady Devils edged Bearden in consolation final of Landair Ladies Classic.

10. Gatlinburg-Pittman (13-3)

Skinny: Lady Highlanders, who will take on Union County on Friday, winners of 11 of past 12 games.
